Position: Lead Catastrophe R&D Specialist

Responsibilities:
  Model Development: Build and refine internal catastrophe models and benchmarks.
  Validation: Evaluate vendor models and perform hazard, vulnerability, and loss analysis.
  Strategic Support: Assist with capital modeling, PML estimation, and real-time event response.
  Solution Design: Collaborate on software and data tools for risk assessment.

Qualifications: 

Master’s or Ph.D. in Hydrology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Python, SQL, GIS, and advanced Excel.
- Proven track record in Cat Modeling 
Strong R&D focus, analytical problem-solving, and the ability to communicate technical results to non-technical audiences.
