Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
· Underwriting Excellence: Independently manage new and renewal treaty business, focusing on non-standard structures and multi-line portfolios.
· Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with Pricing & Modeling teams to align underwriting intuition with catastrophe and accumulation analysis.
· Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain a robust pipeline through strong broker and client engagement.
· Risk Mitigation: Analyze and negotiate complex treaty wordings to ensure contract clarity and exposure control.
· Portfolio Oversight: Monitor performance trends and emerging risks to recommend strategic shifts in underwriting direction.


Qualifications:

· 6+ years in Reinsurance underwriting.
· Technical Skills: Advanced expertise in contract wording, pricing adequacy, and claims dynamics.
· Leadership: Proven ability to exercise independent authority on high-severity or high-ambiguity matters.
