Position: Data Analyst (remote)

Responsibilities:
· Support multiple projects by preparing and analyzing data for predictive modeling and machine learning.
· Perform data interrogation, exploratory analysis, dataset creation/revision, feature engineering, and reporting.
· Ensure data harmonization across sources and maintain reusable, well-documented data assets.
· Investigate data issues and processes within ClaimCenter and PolicyCenter configurations.
· Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, analysts, and architects to deliver solutions and updates.
· Contribute to new feature development, external data research, and provide feedback on emerging products/tools.
Qualifications:
· 5+ years of experience in data analysis and insurance technology.
· In-depth knowledge of US or Canadian P&C standard lines of business.
· Advanced data profiling and statistical analysis capabilities.
· Hands-on experience building datasets for predictive modeling.
· Proficient in SQL
· Solid understanding of P&C policy administration and claims processes.
· Skilled in Excel and Google Sheets for analysis and reporting.
· Experience with dbt for data modeling and transformation.
· Familiarity with NLP and other machine learning techniques.
· Effective at communicating insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
· Able to independently plan and execute projects with minimal oversight.
