Position: Sr. Data Engineer

Responsibilities:
·  Join a new team focused on building predictive models and variables to drive growth in the P&C insurance market.
·  Shape the team's direction and make a significant impact on the insurance industry.
·  Work on multiple projects simultaneously, focusing on data preparation and pipeline development for predictive modeling and GenAI.
·  Key tasks include:
· Interrogating and profiling data.
· Creating, revising, and monitoring data pipelines.
· Building and managing data features.
· Creating data reports.
·  Collaborate with various teams, including product managers, data scientists, and architects, to solve problems and innovate.
·  Create and manage data assets and code with a focus on simplicity, scalability, reusability, and clear documentation.
·  Take on additional assignments, such as new feature development and external data research.


Qualifications:
5+ years of experience

.
·  Hands-on experience building modeling datasets and data features for predictive modeling.
·  Expert-level SQL skills, including advanced functions, table design, and performance tuning.
·  Expertise in data profiling and analysis, including statistical analysis.
·  Experience building machine learning (ML) data pipelines and working with feature stores.
·  In-depth knowledge of Python.
·  Experience with AWS data services such as Airflow, Glue, Redshift, and EMR.
