Position: Actuarial Manager

Responsibilities:
· Collaborate closely with consultants and analysts to analyze complex problems and deliver solutions for a diverse client base, including:
o Large corporations
o Captive insurance companies
o State regulators
o Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance companies
· Engage directly with clients, providing significant visibility and interaction with diverse client portfolios.
· Loss reserving with additional responsibilities in:
o Pricing/ratemaking
o Predictive modeling
o Economic capital modeling
o Warranty and loyalty rewards program analysis
o Lead new projects and transition existing ones with minimal supervision.
o Act as the main point of contact for day-to-day client communications.
o Review analysts' work to ensure technical accuracy and consistency.
o Provide quality assurance for analyses, templates, and exhibits.
o Mentor and support analysts' professional growth within project teams.
o Guide training and skill development for junior team members.
o Prepare exhibits and written reports to present findings to clients.
o Participate in client meetings and discussions as needed.
o Build and maintain strong client relationships.
o Assist in preparing proposals and presentations for prospective clients.
Qualifications:
· 5+ years of actuarial experience in the property & casualty industry, with a preference for prior actuarial consulting experience
· Near, or already obtained ACAS/FCAS credentials
· Strong command of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, etc.
· R, SAS, SQL, or VBA experience a plus
