Responsibilities:
·  Oversee and guide team analysis of reinsurance treaty portfolios, ensuring profitability and effective recommendations.
·  Underwrite Casualty treaty reinsurance as per the business plan and personal authority, including negotiating terms, managing production, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
·  Develop strategic relationships with brokers and clients through networking, addressing complex inquiries, and providing consultation.
·  Review and analyze Specialty Casualty Lines treaty portfolio to track progress towards business goals.
·  Conduct market research to support profit goals and organizational growth.
·  Ensure team adherence to legal, regulatory, and training requirements.
·  Follow underwriting standards and practices to reduce risk and improve efficiency.
·  Assist in recording and measuring reinsurance risks for accuracy and best practices.
·  Meet retrocessional requirements to manage risk and achieve business objectives.
·  Build and maintain relationships with brokers and clients to address their needs and provide suitable products.
·  Strengthen partnerships with cedants by updating them on new products, opportunities for improvement, and underwriting decisions.
·  Participate in underwriting audits and presentations for treaties.
·  Support special projects through accounting reviews, peer reviews, and process improvements.
·  Foster a positive work environment by upholding cultural expectations and promoting performance, accountability, and diversity.
Qualifications:
· Qualified Actuary or CPCU or ARE
· 10+ years of experience
