Position: Lead Cat risk Analyst

Responsibilities:
- leverage expertise in catastrophe risk assessment and modeling best practices to propose and execute innovative analytical solutions supporting
· - Demonstrate expertise in catastrophe models and related tools, proposing and executing innovative solutions with minimal oversight.
· Lead risk analytics functions, mentor junior staff, and maintain high productivity in geospatial analytics, programming, and tool development. Continuously grow in catastrophe modeling, statistics, and financial modeling.
· Analyze property insurance data, assess data quality, and manipulate large datasets for catastrophe models
· Present loss estimates through reports, exhibits, and presentations.
· Apply statistical and financial modeling to manipulate model data and establish unique risk views. Ensure reliable analytics through thorough QA and support peer reviews.
· Lead exposure management, event response, and related analytics.
· Perform accumulation analytics, prepare exposure reports, and summarize exposure movements.
· Support standard capital modeling, loss accumulation, and climate change impact assessment on exposures.
· risk analytics and training, maintain vendor model inventories, and contribute to market intelligence efforts.
Qualifications:
· - Produce accurate and professional reports, exhibits, and presentations.
· Proficient in Excel, SQL, GIS, and programming (R/Python preferred).
-5+ years of relevant and progressive professional experience in Catastrophe Modeling and Analytics.
-Experience showing progressive experience leading catastrophe risk analytics
