Responsibilities:

· Gain exposure to all aspects of the business
· Obtain valuable insight into clients' financing and strategic objectives
· Develop a greater understanding of the industry
· Assist with creation of marketing materials, proposals, and internal approval memos
· Develop pro-forma financial statement models specific to deals with support from junior actuaries
· Participate in pricing and structuring discussions with clients
· Engage in internal discussions for deal approvals
· Review legal documents under guidance of external and internal counsel, with supervision from senior actuaries
· Manage post-close inquiries from clients and/or internal stakeholders
· Help develop junior team members to enhance productivity, work quality, and overall team performance
· Manage junior staff and co-op student performance
· Support staff development and team engagement

Qualifications:

· Qualified actuary
· Knowledge of annuities
· AXIS modelling skills in annuity
· Pricing and/or valuation experience in annuity
