Responsibilities:
·  Lead reinsurance and exposure management strategic agenda 
·  Implement best practices for reinsurance strategy and exposure management 
·  Mentor and guide Reinsurance Claims and Placement specialists.
·  Ensure regulatory principles and loss control guidelines are integrated into workflows.
·  Establish measures and controls for compliance with corporate governance and regulations.
·  Identify and manage insurance-related risks for North America, focusing on concentration, risk segments, and natural disasters.
·  Develop and execute Reinsurance and Exposure Management strategies 
·  Oversee technical capabilities of the reinsurance claims and placement team.
·  Implement exposure management best practices to support pricing and underwriting decisions.
·  Monitor and report on aggregating exposures, including natural perils.
·  Improve reporting capabilities and infrastructure for regular and event-based monitoring.
·  Develop, measure, and report on Risk Distribution Scenarios 
·  Stay updated on catastrophe and emerging risk research.
·  Engage and manage relationships with external modelling service providers.
·  Communicate model updates and technology improvements within the organization.


Qualifications:

· 8+ years of relevant technical experience in underwriting, pricing and reinsurance 
· Qualified Actuary
