Responsibilities:

· Improving the group's reinsurance structure by integrating risk modeling and capital optimization factors within risk tolerance and regulatory boundaries.
· Tracking reinsurance performance across different processes such as budgeting and closure, and conducting analyses to clarify significant deviations.
· Providing feedback on reinsurance structures and suggesting appropriate adjustments for the next year's budget based on observed discrepancies.
· Assisting in reinsurance negotiations by:
· Cultivating and utilizing robust relationships with brokers' and reinsurers' actuaries to facilitate thorough technical negotiations during reinsurance placements.
· Compiling renewal submission packs and generating analyses to bolster negotiations aimed at meeting renewal targets.
· Conducting regular monitoring of treaty performance by:
· Holding one-on-one meetings or global webinars with reinsurers.
· Utilizing detailed information obtained through close collaboration with the underwriting team.

· 

Qualifications:
· Extensive experience spanning several years in outward reinsurance, Solvency 2, or capital management within insurance/reinsurance companies, brokerage, or consulting firms.
· Comprehensive understanding of reinsurance mechanisms or a strong interest in specializing in the reinsurance domain.
· Strong aptitude for data handling and analysis.
· Proficiency in Excel is essential, with programming skills in R, Python, and SAS.
