Position: Senior Actuarial Analyst

Responsibilities:
· Lead actuarial valuations for pension plans, involving data validation, asset reconciliation, ProVal programming, gain/loss analysis, and test case checking.
· Evaluate liabilities under different plan design scenarios for special costings.
· Engage with clients in administrative tasks such as pension benefit calculations, client data management, and benefit statements.
· Participate in investment studies, covering ALM, rate of return, and liquidity analysis.
· Interpret and apply pension plan texts, administrative policies, and relevant legislation.
· Manage governmental compliance documents.
· Draft reports, presentations, and various internal and client documents.
· Contribute to special projects, including industry surveys and benchmark studies.
· Support work across consulting practice lines in group benefits and investments.
· Provide project oversight to ensure adherence to planned budgets and schedules, along with mentoring junior analysts.
Qualifications:
-2+ years of actuarial or consulting experience, preferably in a pension-related field
-ASA or near ASA
-Proficient with computer software such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
