Position: Data Analyst

Responsibilities:
-Leading advanced strategic analysis of revenue, medical expense, and population risk assessments and adjustments for multiple geographic regions and lines of business
-Development of contract proposals and reporting to provide opportunities for meaningful collaboration between Providers and PHP Contract Managers/Executives
-Designing, implementing, and coordinating complex quality improvement and process management initiatives based on the operational objectives of PHP
-Providing high-level analysis work along with interpretation (design evaluation plans, coordinate data collection across groups, partner with other analysts for reporting support, etc.).
-Develop analyses that appropriately address the questions posed.
-Develop exhibits and presentation to communicate findings.
-In consultation with outside actuaries, prepares annual Medicare bid or rate proposal and prepares the documents and analysis required for the annual Statement of Actuarial Opinion.
-Provides advanced analytic and statistical support for quality, clinical, and operational improvement activities.
-Provides expertise to responding to RFPs from existing and prospective employer groups using innovative analytical skills.
-Analyzes and develops unit costs for various payment methodologies, including capitation, RBRVS, per diems, DRGs, risk adjusted episodes of care and other payment innovation methods.
-Accumulates source data and makes calculations to estimate Incurred But Not Reported (IBNR) claims expense and recommends alternative estimates.
Qualifications:
-5 years Healthcare analytics experience;
-Advanced computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office, Microsoft SQL-Server, Tableau). Knowledge of SQL and relational database skills.
