Responsibilities:
· Research reserve reviews to assure the Group Audit Committee and Group Board regarding the IFRS best estimate and recommended booked reserves.
· Completed Actuarial Function reports for the Board, fulfilling an annual regulatory requirement.
· Finalized the Annual Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA) report for UK entities, also an annual regulatory obligation.
· Successfully concluded the annual validation of the Internal Model.
· Reviewed the capital plan and capital requirements.
· Addressed various investment and intragroup matters, assessing risks and providing recommendations for managing financial risk within the Group.
· Assist the business in identifying, measuring, monitoring, managing, and reporting financial risks across the group.
· Support quarterly and annual reserve reviews for different lines of business.
· Aid in the production of the annual ORSA report for Board approval.
· Conduct an annual exercise to quantify the impacts of stress and scenario tests for the Group.
· Provide support in the Internal Model application process by validating different model components.
· Support the development and production of Actuarial Function Reports.
· Contribute to activities related to IFRS17 and Reinsurance.
· Have the opportunity to present to the Model Governance Committee and Reserving Committee.
Qualifications:
· 4-5 years of work experience within insurance/ financial industry
· Knowledge of Solvency II regulations
