- Collaborate with project management team members to ensure project definition and planning activities are to the satisfaction of all project stakeholders.
- For external vendor hardware and/or software solution purchases, conduct sufficient research of multiple competing vendors that solution meets the needs of the business partner, comply with internal IT standards, and work closely with procurement to negotiate an appropriate contract in a competitive environment.
- For technology upgrades including new applications and vendor solutions, responsible for planning, requirements, design, development, testing and deployment preparation to ensure a quality solution is provided that meets the needs of the business partner.
- Manage support service levels by leading the resolution of significant system and application failures which could diminish business ability.
- Partner closely with other application/infrastructure teams as applicable to ensure that the appropriate run time environment, monitoring, and support capabilities are in place to meet the requirements specified by the business.
- Recruit and select staff to replace existing or fill new roles within the team by participating in workforce and succession planning, developing role descriptions, and posting and interviewing.
- Identify technical opportunities to improve processes, procedures, delivery, maintainability and usability.
- Develop operational plans, identifying priorities, scope of activities, resource availability and current initiatives to maximize resource utilization and results.

- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science with at least 10 years’ relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 5 years' experience and demonstrated leadership ability of management skills/knowledge required for analysis, coaching, mentoring, staff direction, planning and service development/support.
- Broad understanding of business operations, strategies, and processes to guide the design, development and implementation of technology solutions that support business objectives.
