-Serve as the appointed Loss Reserve Specialist for the company.
-Coordinate preparation of the annual BSCR submission and its statutory and IFRS financial statements.  
-Collaborate with corporate colleagues to support Bermuda’s ORSA requirements and to monitor the adequacy of the risk management and current/prospective solvency positions.
-Monitor the evolving regulatory environment in Bermuda to ensure that complies with all financial reporting and capital adequacy regulations and to plan for potential changes.
-Support reinsurance pricing and analysis for the Bermuda Branch including ceded reinsurance programs for HNW business and reinsurance assumed from other affiliates.
-Conduct quarterly earnings analysis and periodic experience studies for the reinsurance treaties.
-Support internal and external audit activities related to the reinsurance.
-Serve as liaison to the reinsurance administration team, in support of IT projects to implement new treaties and amendments.
-Work on cross-functional teams for reinsurance or other projects, often serving as project lead.
-Duties of a general nature as may be required from time to time.


-FSA designation.
-Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the life insurance industry.
-Strong life insurance and annuity product knowledge, including reinsurance of these products.
-Exposure to financial reporting and capital management.
-Understanding of international regulatory capital rules such as NAIC, MCCSR, Solvency II and/or BSCR is a plus.
-Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access.
-Exceptional technical, analytical and problem solving skills.
-Strong leadership and communication skills.
